港股每日報告

 

特朗普威脅對所有中國進口貨征數關稅。

 

上星期五港股開市微升,恆生指數升44點,國企指數升25點。中國移動升0.88%,帶動指數升11點;中石化升1.7%,為升幅最大藍籌股,帶動指數升9點。神華跌1.4%,為跌幅最大藍籌股。A股開市跌0.44%,上證綜合指數跌12點。開市後港股升轉跌,離岸人民幣跌至6.836,引發投資者沽貨。騰訊及金融股領跌。滙豐跌0.7%,拖累指數跌19點;建設銀行跌1%,拖累指數跌21點;友邦跌0.66%,拖累指數跌17點。騰訊跌0.8%,令指數跌21點。恆生指數跌超過200點,跌破28000點。碧桂園跌4.4%,為跌幅最大藍籌股。華潤置地跌3.9%,中海外跌3.2%。舜宇光學跌3.2%,瑞聲科技跌2.85%。恆生指數最低跌至27746點,跌264點。A股上午收市跌0.12%,上證綜合指數跌3點。恆生指數上午收市跌152點,國企指數跌38點,成交448億元。

 

 

下午離岸人民幣滙率急升至6.78,A股反彈,升1.51%,上證綜合指數升42點。港股大幅反彈,恆生指數倒升21百多點,重上28000點。中央將宣佈資產管理新規,有利銀行。內銀及保險股領升,建設銀行升2.84%,令指數升58點;工商銀行升2.964%,令指數升35點;平保升1.99%,令指數升23點;中國銀行升2.25%,令指數升20點。保險股上升,中國人壽升2%,新華保險升4%,太保升2.22%。航空股大幅反彈,國航升3.9%,南航升4.7%,東航升3.55%。手機設備股下跌,舜宇跌3.5%,瑞聲跌2.5%,為跌幅最大兩隻藍籌股;中興通訊跌5%。內房股仍然疲弱,中國海外跌1.5%,華潤置地跌1.5%,但碧桂園升1.9%。A股收市升2%,上證綜合指數升56點。港股尾市升幅擴大,恆生指數升接近300點,最高升至28295點,升285點。收市升213點,國企指數升159點,成交1003億元。全週恆生指數跌301點,國企指數跌64點。

 

 

上星期五晚歐美股市下跌,美歐貿易糾紛升級。歐洲股市下跌,德國跌124點,法國跌18點,英國跌5點。美股個別發展,標普跌2點,納斯達克跌2點。美國總統特朗普批評聯儲局加息,不利美國企業,又威脅對所有中國進口征收關稅。港股預託證券在美國升141點,夜期升80點。預計今天港股下跌。

Trump threatened to impose tariff on all Chinese imports.

 

 

The Hong Kong market opened slightly higher last Friday.  Hang Seng index rose 44 points and H share index rose 25 points at opening.  China Mobile rose 0.88% to contribute 11 point gain.  Sinopec rose 1.7% to become the top gainer and contributed 9 point gain.  Shenhua fell 1.4% to become the top loser.  A shares opened down 0.44%.  Shanghai composite index lost 12 points.  The market turned from gain to loss after opening.  Offshore RMB fell to 6.836 vs the US dollar, setting one-year low.  Investors sold off.  Tencent and financials led the fall.  HSBC lost 0.7% for 19 point loss.  CCB lost 1% for 21 point loss.  AIA lost 0.66% for 17 point fall.  Tencent lost 0.8% for 21 point fall.  Hang Seng index lost more than 200 points in the morning and fell below 28000 points.  Country Garden lost 4.4% to become the top loser.  CR Land lost 3.9%.  China Overseas Land lost 3.2%.  Sunny Optical lost 3.2%.  AAC lost 2.85%.  Hang Seng index fell to a low of 27746 points, down 264 points.  A shares closed the morning down 0.12%.  Shanghai composite index lost 3 points.  Hang Seng index closed down 152 points and H share index down 38 points.  Turnover was $44.8 billion.

 

 

In the afternoon, the offshore RMB suddenly surged to 6.78.  A shares rebounded 1.51%.  Shanghai composite index rose 42 points.  The reason was that the Government issued directive for asset management, which was much softer than expected.  Banks and insurers were expected to benefit.  Mainland banks and insurers rose strongly to lift the market.  CCB rose 2.84% for 58 point gain.  ICBC rose 2.96% for 35 point gain.  Ping An rose 1.99% for 23 point gain.  BOC rose 2.25% for 20 point gain.  China Life rose 2%.  NCI rose 4%.  CPIC rose 2.22%.  Airlines surged on stronger Yuan.  Air China rose 3.9%.  China Southern rose 4.7%.  China Eastern rose 3.55%.  However, handset suppliers fell against the market.  Sunny Optical lost 3.5%.  AAC lost 2.5%.  ZTE lost 5%.  Mainland developers were mixed.  China Overseas Land lost 1.5%.  CR Land lost 1.5% but Country Garden rose 1.9%.  A shares closed up 2%.  Shanghai composite index closed up 56 points.  Hong Kong shares rose further near the close.  Hang Seng index reached an intraday high of 28295 points, up 285 points and closed up 213 points.  H share index closed up 159 points.  Turnover was $100.3 billion.  For the week, Hang Seng index lost 301 points and H share index lost 64 points. 

 

 

Last Friday night, overseas markets fell.  US-EU trade dispute escalated.  European markets fell.  DAX lost 124 points; CAC lost 18 points and FTSE lost 5 points.  President criticized the Federal Reserve for raising interest rate, creating difficulty for American business.  In addition, he threatened to import tariff on all Chinese imports.  Hong Kong ADR’s rose 141 points in New York.  Night futures rose 50 points. We expect the market to fall today.
